Amok, the debut album from Thom Yorke’s Atoms For Peace project will be released by XL Recordings on 02.26. The band just uploaded a brand new website featuring a landscape designed by long-time Radiohead collaborator Stanley Donwood. You can also download “What The Eyeballs Did”, it’s hidden somewhere in the drawing (clue: church + time). This track was previously available as the B-side to the supergroup’s recent single “Default”, which was released as a download back in September & on 12” in November. Mac Demarco - My Kind of Woman

Bedroom / garage producer turned pop aficionado Mac Demarco has been spouting his feelings regarding life and the arbitrary normalities of apartment living for a few years now. If you like what you hear, check out this video of “Heat Wave”, released by his previous musical venture. Simple music.

Every feeling of self doubt, self loathing, underachievement, is accompanied by the sound of this band, and in particular this song.

Radiohead - Sail to the moon

I have wrestled with death.
It is the most unexciting contest you can imagine.
It takes place in an impalpable greyness, with nothing underfoot, with nothing around, without spectators, without clamour, without glory, without the great desire of victory, without the great fear of defeat, in a sickly atmosphere of tepid scepticism, without much belief in your own right, and still less in that of your adversary
Joseph Conrad, Heart of Darkness

Loving this. Sounds a little like Blood orange, a little SBTRKT, funked up and with a heavy bass ringing through the chorus.

Glass Animals - Cocoa Hooves

Taken me too long to discover this group; one of the best album openers i’ve heard in a while and a totally rad 90’s vid to top it off.

Slowdive - Alison
